Ping G425 MAX Fairway

Ping’s most technologically advanced fairway wood yet, it utilises innovative technology including FaceWrap and Spinsistency to offer enhanced distance and spin predictability than ever before.

FaceWrap technology provides explosive ball speeds through a high strength maraging steel than is actively extended into the crown and sole, the result is greater distance and superb launch on each shot. Spinsistency ensures more consistent spin performance, engineered to normalise spin and keep shots actively on target. Highly forgiving, it gives golfers the confidence to tackle longer shots from the fairway and cut down their shots to the pin.

Utilising strategically placed tungsten weighting for fantastic launch and MOI, the crown itself has a new 3-dot visual alignment feature, allowing golfers to line up perfectly on each shot. PING’s SFT (Straight Flight Technology) is ideal for golfers prone to slicing or hitting wayward shots, the SFT is draw-biased to keep shots on-line for the fairway.

  With the Facewrap design, the thin, high strength maraging steel face extends into the crown and sole for explosive ball speeds.
• SPINSISTENCY
  Spinsistency offers consistent spin performance, the club face face is engineered with a complex curvature that modifies the roll profile, mainly low on the face where the loft decreases approximately 2.5º to normalise the spin to give the ball enhanced speed and further distance.
• HIGH MOI, EASY TO ALIGN
  Each club has a strategically placed tungsten sole that increases the MOI (Moment of inertia) in the stainless-steel heads for extra forgiveness. The crown has a new 3-dot alignment feature that provides golfers with a visual cue to address the ball to best match their eye
• SFT (STRAIGHT FLIGHT TECHNOLOGY)
  The G425 Fairway Wood SFT is designed for golfers who commonly miss their tee shots to the right, the SFT has been engineered with draw bias to help bring back shots on-line and into the fairway.

  Loft adjustability: 5 settings: +-1.5⁰ (0, +1⁰, +1.5⁰, -1⁰, -1.5⁰)
  Lie adjustability: Up to 3⁰ flatter
• ARCCOS SMART GRIP
  Standard on all G425 Clubs is the Arccos Smart Grip, which is custom built with an embedded sensor to automatically record and analyse every shot taken during a round when paired with the Arccos Caddie app
