Ping G440 LST Driver

The G440 driver has been expertly engineered to deliver an impressive boost in ball speed, thanks to a variety of advanced features. Notably, this model showcases PING's deepest centre of gravity (CG) ever found in a driver, alongside a shallower and thinner face design. These innovations ensure that players receive the exceptional forgiveness synonymous with PING drivers. Each model has been tailored to suit specific player types, allowing the unique head profile to optimise launch conditions that align perfectly with individual swings. Additionally, the overall system weight has been reduced by 10 grams, and the standard shaft length is now a quarter-inch longer than previous versions, helping golfers achieve faster swings and ultimately longer, higher-launching drives accompanied by a pleasant, slightly muted sound.

The G440 LST (Low Spin) model is particularly appealing to players with a faster swing speed, as it offers lower spin rates and enhanced control in both 9° and 10.5° lofts, complete with a versatile three-position back weight.

Free-Hosel Technology
Weight has been strategically removed from a section of the hosel and redistributed to lower the CG, producing PING’s deepest centre of gravity to date. This alignment closer to the force line facilitates faster ball speeds, optimal spin rates, and higher launch angles, resulting in longer and straighter drives.

Hotter, Thinner Face
The innovative lower face height design allows for both a thinner and hotter face, which delivers increased ball speed and greater consistency across the entire clubface, including the higher heel area.

Lighter Overall, Longer Shaft Length
Weighing 10 grams less overall, the G440 driver features a standard shaft length of 46" (a quarter-inch longer than previous models). This enhancement helps golfers swing faster while maintaining a tight dispersion pattern for more accurate shots. The standard length for the PING Tour 2.0 shafts (available in Chrome and Black) is 45.50", as well as for stock aftermarket options like Project X Denali Red and Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Black.

CarbonFly Wrap Crown
The CarbonFly Wrap crown contributes to weight savings, which are then reallocated to lower the CG, ensuring forgiveness and a more subdued yet pleasing sound at impact.

Heavier 3-Position Adjustable Back Weight
Featuring a 29-gram back weight in the LST models, this system ensures optimal forgiveness and can be adjusted into draw, fade, or neutral positions, offering players the ability to influence shot shape and trajectory.

Trajectory Tuning 2.0 Adjustable Hosel
This lightweight, 8-position hosel allows for precise adjustments in loft (±1.5°) and lie (up to 3° flatter than standard), enabling golfers to fine-tune their ball flight for the best performance.
