Odyssey has moved Zero Torque Forward.

Odyssey’s innovative S2S TRI-HOT putters represent a groundbreaking advancement in the “Zero Torque” category. Through the application of multi-material construction, we have successfully repositioned the centre of gravity (CG) of these putters forward, allowing the shaft to enter the head at the topline. This significant alteration removes the necessity for shaft lean, thereby addressing one of the primary obstacles for golfers adopting this style of putter.

 

Forward CG and Hosel Position

The forward positioning of the CG enables us to situate the hosel spud directly on the topline, placing it considerably closer to the face than conventional “Zero Torque” putters. This positioning fosters a more natural, intuitive, and comfortable setup experience for the golfer.

 

Multi-Material Construction

By thoughtfully integrating Aluminium, Steel, and over 140 grams of tungsten, we have created a “Zero Torque” putter that boasts more than 80% of its weight strategically located beneath the topline. This design not only supports our forward CG and hosel placement but also optimises performance.

 

Ai-DUAL Insert

Crafted with the assistance of Artificial Intelligence, the dual-layer urethane insert is engineered with a soft outer layer and a firmer inner layer. This design ensures consistent ball speed across the face while promoting improved forward roll both up and down the face, along with a remarkable feel.

 

New FRD Groove

The newly designed Forward Roll Design Groove features a deeper and more aggressive profile with a 19° slope. This groove works alongside the dual-layer insert to enhance forward roll capabilities across the face.

 

New Pistol Plus Grip

After analysing the most popular grips utilised on Tours globally, we identified common features and areas for improvement. The outcome is a mid-sized pistol grip with defined edges that fit comfortably in your hands, providing superior awareness of the putter face throughout your stroke.

 

Black SL 120 Shaft

Developed and refined on tour, the new black PVD shaft is heavier and stiffer than our previous SL 90 model, making it a perfect match for this style of putter.
